Day 236 - Lansinoh Breast Milk Storage Bags

Today I am offering a nearly full package of Lansinoh Breast Milk Storage Bags. These were given to me by a friend - who knows I am having troubles getting my act in order lately. Hence - publishing 4 offerings today! All of which are courtesy of Hazel! Anyhoo - they are exactly what they sound like. I am sure someone will put them to use.

Day 235 - 5 Switchplates

Today I am offering 5 switchplates. All are gold. 3 are for a single light switch and 2 are for double switches. I think these were from the house my parents bought and they put new ones in. Somehow they ended up here. But, they are not our style - though they are in good condition.

Day 234 - 3 Handrail Brackets

Today I am offering 3 handrail brackets. These are the things that hold the handrail to the wall in your stairwell. They are all new and in their packaging. I think we got these when we had to fix the handrail at our old place before we moved. Perhaps the fix never happened - I have no idea! But, we're never going to use them - unless we build a stairwell to nowhere...

Day 233 - 3 Ceiling Hooks

Today I am offering 3 ceiling hooks - to hang plants or whatever else (hold up to 50 lbs). They are all new in packaging and I am hoping to get rid of all of them with one taker. I can't recall why these were purchased, but I know we don't have any ieas floating in our minds about what to do with them. So, hopefully someone dying for new ceiling hooks will get my e-mail!

Some local kindergartners will be enjoying new letters! So glad they will go to use!

I am amazed how many people want a crockpot without a lid!! WOW!

Day 229 - Girls Tights - FLOP!

Perhaps it is still to warm, but I am very surprised these did not go. Looks like I'll be selling them at my twins club kid resale in a few weeks. But, I am surprised!

Day 230 - 3 Iron Hooks - GONE!

These went fast and had many that wanted them! So glad they will go to use - probably holding a birdfeeder!!

Day 232 - Crockpot sans lid...

Today I am offering a Rival crockpot that is probably 4.5 quarts. It is missing a lid - so either you need to buy one or you can use it for another purpose. The lid broke in our garage and I was not able to figure out what new lid I needed. So, I bit the bullet and bought a new one - what a bummer.

Today I am offering a bag of magnetic alphabets. They are perfectly fine, but I just don't care of them. The magnets can come off the back and if a little guys ate them it could be trouble. I told the freecyclers that they should only go to a home with kids over 3...

Did you ever have a vision that just didn't work? Well, today I am freecycling 3 black iron hooks. We bought them to hang candle boxes in our screened porch. But, it didn't look right. We did find a solution we love - more candleboxes, but a little more tailored. So, these hooks are yours for the taking!

Day 229 - Girls Tights

Today I am offering 2 pairs of Old Navy tights. They were in a lot of clothes given to my girls a few months ago. They are in great shape - just not my style. But, I am sure someone will be more than happy to have them for their kid. We'll see!

Again, I am not too surprised this was a flop! But, I did get one super funny response from a guy who thought it might improve his image, but he said he was too old. It made me laugh...

Off to the food pantry they go. I am a little surprised they did not go - who turns down free food?? I even had people send me recipes to use them in. But, they did not want them - strange............

Apparently nobody in my neighborhood has any frogs they want to feed. That stinks.

Day 224 - Kid Toy Bin - GONE!

This item was actually given as a "free for all" at my recent twins club meeting. My neighbor gave it to me right before the meeting and although I did not want it, I knew someone would! Sure enough when I put the offer out there the girls were fighting for it.

This game was also snapped up super quick!! Yippie - I am sure she'll have a lot of fun with it!

Not a surprise, but the disney album has been promised and should be gone today. It took all of like 2 seconds to find a taker - again, not a surprise. But, I am happy to have it on its way out of the house!!

Today I am offering an Electronic Sudoko Game. My brother-in-law gave it to us several years ago and we had a lot of fun with it! But, we just don't ever use it anymore. I think it would be perfect if you had a train ride to work or something. But, we're drivers - unfortunately!

Today I am freecycling a bottle of Pesto alla Genovese and a bottle of Roasted Eggplant Pesto. They are a donation to my cause from a good friend. They both look real nice and are obviously never opened or anything. Just not somethign you use on a normal days menu. I think they'll go!

Today I am getting rid of a weekday pill box. It has openings for every day of the week. It is fully functional - just a little small for my huge prenatal horsepills. I doubt it will go........

Today I am offering a beaded guys necklace. Think teens or twenties. Black beads - not shiny or anything like that. Super masculine. Not sure when Dave got this. He does like to wear a necklace if we are on vacation or something like that. But that really just never happens! So, it is off to someone else's neck. Not sure if this will go!!

Day 220 - Beaded Purse

Today I am freecycling a super cute silver beaded purse. It is completely not practical - super tiny, but just beautiful - with all kinds of beading and sparkles.

It is a tough one for me to get rid of - holds some sentimental value. But, now that I have 2 kids and another on the way there is just no chance I'll ever use it again! And, it is way to nice to give to my little girls to play with.

I'm sad...

Today I am offering 2 quilted pillow shams. They are white with some flowery patterns quilted in. Of course I got them from my Mother-In-Law. No matching quilt - just the shams - which seems a little odd. But, maybe someone would enjoy them.

Today I am offering a nice compact reusable bag. It is one of those grocer bags that folds into itself - nice to carry in your purse or bag. We got it with our zoo membership and already have so many reusable bags I just don't think we NEED it. Hoepfully someone will be excited to see the posting.

Today I am offering a Nicholas Sparks book - Nights in Rodanthe. I read this a long time ago and don't remember it. I saw them movie somewhat recently and it was terrible. Maybe I did not read the book, because if they are similar I surely never would have watched the movie. Seriously, I am not a fan of Nicholas Sparks - despite the fact I've read several of his books - kind of like Jodi Picoult - I read it but don't like it.

The funny thing is that as I was freecycling with my husband I asked him to look in his nightstand for something to get rid of - and lo and behold he found this. So, maybe it is his book!

After my friends 3 year old bit into his and got the goo all over I just decided we're not ready for glow sticks - despite how much fun they are. I do have a dream of sneaking into a farm and giving the cows glow stick necklaces so you can see them in the dark, but Dave thinks that's crazy... Whatever.

Today I am offering a pair of binoculars. I got these for Dave a hundred years ago and we've never used them. I thought they were going to come in handy some day and the day has never arrived. I just saw them in the garage and got permission from Dave to pass them on. But, there is definite hesitation in his voice about giving them away. Maybe because they were a gift from me or maybe because he has dreams of using them. But, he agreed and I don't think it will take long for them to hit the road.

Today I am offering a super cute 4x6 photo frame. It is a beach scene with sand, shells, a sky, boat and 2 dolphins. I don't recall who gave us this, but really think someone will enjoy using it. We'll see..........

Today's items were given by my 3 year old girls. E&E are giving up a bag of stuffed animals - a dog, a cat, a few rabbits, and a few others. At breakfast we talked about what we could give away and they were more than happy to part with these items. Sweet.

And - we're 1/2 way through the year. I think this might be my first resolution ever that I've kept going this long! Do you think I can make it through the rest of the year - and have a baby! Yikes.
